You are Invited!
You are cordially invited to a shower held in Selah’s honor!
As God would have it, Selah and her family were overwhelmed and blessed by the generosity of friends, family and churches as they prepared to bring her home and are lacking in nothing to care for her.
It was hard for those of us that live far away from Selah’s family, or know Erin from the blogworld and were unable to attend a shower for their family, to not be able to participate in all the celebrations! So, to bless Selah’s family and the home and providers that cared for her while her family was praying and waiting for her, we are throwing an online shower in Selah’s honor for the orphanage in Ninh Thuan (where Selah stayed).
We are participating in this honorary shower by sending a monetary gift to the Dillon Agency. They will be using these monetary gifts to purchase playground equipment (and/or add-ons for the equipment) for the children at the orphanage. These children have few, if any, toys to play with inside or outside and according to both Erin and the director of orphan care at DI, they are in serious need of playground equipment that would allow the children to play outside.

Be sure to write in the Memo portion of your check and/or with a note attached to your gift, stating that it’s being made on Selah’s behalf for playground equipment for the orphanage in Ninh Thuan.
It is tax-deductible and they will send you a thank you letter upon receipt of your gift. They will also send Selah’s family a letter stating that a donation was made by you, in their name, to benefit the children staying at the orphange.

“I just can’t tell you what a difference this will make in the lives of the children who live in the Ninh Thuan orphanage. Your generosity will be felt for many years to come.”
The playground equipment costs between $1,500 and $2,500 and add-ons cost $70, $175 and $300. There are a few groups interested in helping with this project, so they aren’t solely depending on our shower to fund the equipment. I’m sure any gifts we give will be warmly accepted and appreciated!
